Updated
my site yet again with a new layout. It's little more
streamlined and will be much easier to manage my For
Sale section. Plus I just added a bunch new items
to the For
Sale section and put all the old in a Past
Work section. Hope you guys like the changes and
won't be quite as frustrated buying stuff now.

The
show at Wootini went great. We had a good turnout and
it got a good amount of press. Everything from the local
newspapers the News
and Observer and the Independent
to international press like Clutter
Magazine and Vinyl
Pulse wrote something about it. You can view a few
pics from the show here.

Lots
of new news.
1)
I just finished reorganizing my artwork section so that
it's easy to find the stuff for sale. It's all under
a section called "For Sale"... genius huh?
2)
I was interviewed in Clutter
Magazine (the first anniversary edition) and also
am mentioned in a 2 page spread in the same mag for
my piece in the swear
bear show. Clutter is a really great magazine and
if you haven't read it and you like custom toys and
underground art, you should check it out.
3)
I've got a little cartoon/comic that is coming out in
the next Pencil
Fight magazine. This is a great magazine that focuses
on art and culture.
4)
I'm part of two group shows in the coming months. They
are both at Wootini
(i didn't really plan it that way, it just happened).
The first is called "This
Side Up" and it's a show that geared towards helping
the homeless. It's got a lot of great artists on the
bill. The second on is a show called "Lion, Tigers,
and Bears". It's a group show curated by David
Huyck featuring over 30 artists such as Jermaine
Rogers, Liz
McGrath, Colin
Christian, Bwana
Spoons, Little
Friends of Print Making, Casey
Porn, myself and many more.
5)
I've got a solo show coming up on May 12th at Wootini:
"Consume
featuring original paintings and 3d work by David K.
Rose opens on Friday May 12th from 7pm to Midnight at
Wootini.
So plan to come out for a night of art, music and of
course refreshments. "

It's
a new year. I've got a few shows that i' m going to
be a part of coming up. The first is a group show at
Moshi
Moshi in Portland. It's in the same building as
Renowned
and Denwave. The title of the show is "Ninjas Are Sweet"
it's opening the first Friday of Feb. The artists featured
will include Bwana
Spoons and Martin
Ontiveros to name a few. I'll post an image of my
final piece on here soon.

The
next show is a benefit show for CBGB's
called "Swear
to Save". The SwearBears, Drastic Plastic,
Hi Fructose Magazine, Clutter Magazine, and Play Times
Magazine present "Swear
to Save" a benefit to help save this club.

Hey
Everyone,
I've decided to go back to a more informative front
page. I plan on using this space to show more new stuff
that i'm working on and give more info about shows and
the like. Now there will be more of a reason to visit
my site often (especially if you want to grab a piece
right after it's made).
I
have a show going on right now in Chapel Hill at Fuse.
I plan on posting some of the new art that I generated
for that show and some other previous shows that I've
done, soon.
Here's
one of my new ones:

AX01
/ The Swing / Acrylic on Canvas /18"x24" /
$500 BUY

Some
news I forgot to mention, I'm featured in DK publishing's
book "Ultimate Robot" by Robert Malone.

My
work is featured on page 151 of the book. You can check
out reviews and buy it here.

Been
a while since I've written anything. Let's see... I
just finished the links section and the new stuff sections
on my site. I had a very successful show at Fuse
in Chapel Hill that ran for a while. There is a show
at Design
Box next friday curated by Onion Head Monster
artist, Paul Friedrich that I am a part of and I have
a few cool upcoming projects under my sleeve that I
will hopefully unveil later this year. Thanks for visiting
my site.

If you are a regular visitor you will probably notice
that the site is once again different. About half way
through my redesign I decided to go in a different direction.
Hopefully you guys will like the new look. There is
a big show in Carrboro that I'm playing a small part
in this Friday, Nov 19. It's at the new Resuscitated
Pigrim Gallery in Car Mill Mall and it will be featuring
the work of Jermaine
Rogers. They
(meaning guys who run the gallery and their sister toy
store, Wootini) will be showing off Jermaine's brand
spanking new DERO Toy. Also, some local artists (Casey
Burns, Ron Liberti, Paul Friedrich, Dale Flattum and
myself to name a few) will be showing dero tribute pieces.
The reception will be 7pm - 12am. You can contact the
gallery at: 200 N. Greensboro St / 919.933.6061 / Carrboro,
NC 27510 / store@wootini.com

Lots
going on. This is the first day of my new site being
up. I'm still working out the problems so please bear
with me. The art gallery section should be working though
so check it out. Also I have a show tonight at the Community
Realty Building in Carrboro, NC from 6 -
9pm. Come and check it out if you are in the area.

Electric
Chair Art Gallery Reception Tonight I've
posted my new show. It's my first show in the Mid-West.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to go to the reception
but I'll be there in spirit. Follow the link for info
on the gallery.

Designbox
SHOW RECEPTION: Tonight 7-11! Hey everyone. I just added
a section with most of the work that will be in the
show at Designbox. Updating everything on the site has
not gone smoothly but I think it is mostly working now.
I may have to come back and do some tweaking later because
it's really late (or early) and I'm getting tired. Hope
some of you can make it out to the show.

DESIGNBOX
SHOW: March Happy New Year! I know i've been slack about
updating the site but things have been really busy with
the holidays and moving. You will notice that some of
the painting sections actually have title, size, medium
and price listed on them now. I will eventually add
that to other parts of the site but for now it's at
least an improvement. If you are interested in something,
just send me an email. For those who haven't seen it
yet, Paul
Friedrich and I have an 1/4 color ad in the
MARCH/APRIL edition of Juxtapoz
Magazine.
It's really exciting to see it there, the only problem
is that the date of the show has been moved. The new
date for the show at Design Box is March. The reception
will be Friday, March 5th. Hope to see everyone out
there! Keep a look out for an updates on the website.

TART
OF THE MONTH For all of you that didn't know, I'm a
little tart. My work is featured this month on Tart
Gallery's website which is quite a cool thing.
Check it out.. Yippee!

NOVEMBER 2003 ART SHOW AT LILLY'S PIZZA (Five Points)
in Raleigh! I'm having an art show at Lilly's
Pizza for the month of November. If you haven't
been there, it's a great pizza stop in Raleigh. The
pizza is amazing and the owner is really cool. If you
are in the area, check it out and have a buddha pizza
(my fav)! Keep A Breast - Art Auction (Breast Cancer
Benefit) The breast cancer benefit at Design Box in
association with Mod
Art that I was so lucky to be a part of was
a huge hit in Raleigh. The turnout was amazing and the
event featured about 70 artists and raised over $10,000.
You can still see the piece I did at Humble Pie in Raleigh
at least 'till the end of this month.
